Your Report From London Home Inspections:

With your home inspection, you will get a detailed and comprehensive inspection report.   It not only describes the house components and their condition, but also provides insight into what improvements will be necessary, and when.

The home inspection report you receive describes each of the major systems of the home, including:

• Roof
• Exterior
• Structure
• Electrical
• Heating
• Cooling
• Insulation and ventilation
• Plumbing
• Interior

The report addresses the condition of each of these systems. Any recommended repairs, replacements or improvements are clearly documented. The report also includes a summary of significant issues for quick reference.

You will receive a detailed report of all defects; photos attached and recommendations for further actions.  Report is provided normally approx. 3 hours after the inspection.

The report card is color coordinated;  Red / Orange/ Blue...so it makes reading the report easy.  RED is related to high ticket items/ safety issues.   ORANGE- defects you can repair within a year and BLUE - the handyman special !   

There is a Repair Request Document Generator inside the report card - it allows you to make up a sub - report of any defects you would like to discuss with your agent. An easy convenient way to communicate your concerns. Have fun reading the report.

Home safety tips

The report will provide you with a number of home safety tips, addressing everything from smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors to overhead garage door openers.

The home is a very significant investment for most people. Good preventative maintenance is a great way to protect your investment. Our home inspection reports include a maintenance section to help make sure that your home continues to be safe, comfortable, and efficient.

My perspective of a home inspection is to "educate" the client on how a home operates; discuss any required annual maintenance issues and also have discussion on what to look for in future years as their home gets older.  The inspection is not just a list of defects and photos.
